Generally speaking, candles don't require much. Mostly they require common sense about fire safety. Other than that, they're easy. There are a few things that are good to keep around if you burn candles frequently, however, such as a good wax remover-because inevitably some wax is going to drip somewhere where you'd rather it didn't.

In Magick 101, it's taught that a candle should never be blown out with the breath, that the breath of life should never be used to extinguish something. Therefore, it's good to keep a snuffer around. Spitting on your fingers and trying to pinch a flame out quickly before being burnt gets old really fast.
